Like you, we believe everyone deserves a healthy smile, yet many of the children and adults we care for experience high rates of dental decay. Dental decay is progressive and, when left untreated, can seriously impact an individual’s quality of life. Untreated tooth decay and infections can lead to missed school or work days, low self-esteem, systemic health complications and, in worst cases, death.
Community Dental Care’s new 12 operatory dental clinic located in Buffalo, MN will increase access to comprehensive dental care for all. With the generous support of major funders and supporters like you, we have raised 97% of the project costs and began serving patients on September 19, 2022. This clinic is already making a significant impact to serve patients in need. Since opening, we provided dental services for more than 2,000 patient visits!

The patients we are serving in Buffalo:
91% are enrolled in public programs
5% are uninsured
49% are children under age 21
21% are emergencies
94% are new patients
These statistics demonstrate the clinic is fulfilling its goal to serve the underserved communities in the region.
We have already raised $2,566,739 of the $2,650,000 total project costs! When you give to the Buffalo Clinic, you know your dollars will help people in need because the patients we serve have significant untreated dental disease and have trouble getting access to dental care.
Jeff’s Story
Your gift helps people like 70-year-old Jeff, one of our first patients seen at the Buffalo clinic. Jeff lives in Buffalo and shared it has been well over 5 years since he has seen a dentist. He has been living with a chipped front tooth, with a sharp edge for a few years. He hasn’t been able to find a dentist that takes his insurance and was eager to make an appointment. After his new patient appointment, Jeff had tears in his eyes as he shared he had the best experience at our clinic.
“Everyone has taken care of me so well here. This is the best customer service I’ve had—just excellent,” Jeff shared. Since his first visit, Jeff has already completed two restorative dental appointments to complete treatment. He is on the path to improved oral health, for improved overall health!
