Expanding our Capacity in the West Metro - New Community Dental Care Clinic to Open July 2024

Community Dental Care is thrilled to announce that we are expanding access to dental care in the West Metro. We are relocating our Robbinsdale clinic to Crystal, where we will open a much larger clinic in the Crystal Medical Center, located at 5700 Bottineau Blvd. This new location is only 3.5 miles northwest of the current clinic, and is adjacent to the planned light rail Blue Line.

The $3M project will expand our capacity by 65%, allowing us to more quickly see the over 3,500 patients waiting for appointments throughout the year. The new 14 operatory clinic will serve 18,000 patient visits per year, increasing access to critical dental services for people in our community. Expanding our capacity will allow us to better serve existing and new patients of all ages with culturally-sensitive, comprehensive dental care.

We look forward to providing you and your family with high quality, comprehensive dental care!

Dental Nonprofit in Robbinsdale Fills Important Need

By Sonya Goins, Reporter, CCX Media

Not everyone has dental insurance, and for those who do, the coverage is often limited to cleanings and x-rays. Community Dental Care in Robbinsdale is making an impact on the underserved population in the northwest metro and beyond.

“Every year we serve about 7,000 patients out of this clinic alone,” said Executive Director Kleinhans.

Patient Laverne Davis says if it weren’t for clinics like Community Dental, she doesn’t know what she’d do. “Because of my heart condition, I would be really up to a creek,” said Davis.
